Phil was given access to Dickins & Jones, Department Store, a few days before they switched the power off. Phil had no predetermined idea what he was going to do with the images, he just knew he had to record the interior space, before it changed forever. 

In Phil's words "Being given the chance to photograph and document the interior space (empty) of an iconic store like Dickins & Jones was truly special. You'll never again see the space as you can in these images, it's changed forever...."
